Remember when everyone was saying that Republicans had fucked themselves with the shutdown?

Wishful times...
Binro the Heretic - 2014-10-16
I hate saying it, but maybe things will have to get way worse before people fight to make it better?

5 for having to vote for the Dems; it's like having to chew my arm off to get out of a trap.
memedumpster - 2014-10-16
5 for the Dems knowing we fear the Republican threat to our creature comfort so much we'll vote for the Endless War Doctrine because that will only happen to dirty foreigners and not us. We've reached the point in history where America is officially full of every kind of shit possible in all walks of lip service for a better so-called world.

It's kind of a comfort to know that we're the same now as we were a thousand years ago, and will still be this way a thousand years from now. Takes a lot of the pressure off hoisted on us by our flimsy mythology.

"a handful of states" seems like they make all the difference every election cycle.
also, less one star for the whiteboard drawings

In every single election, there is something or other at stake.

The problem with Republicans is, they understand this and vote in numbers.

So Republicans want to give my money to the rich, and Democrats want to give it to the poor. Who do I vote for again?
Binro the Heretic - 2014-10-18
The rich will take your money and stick it in an offshore account where they will never spend it and it will never be taxed.

The poor will buy goods & services, helping the economy and paying taxes to fund public works.

You tell me.
