Can we get a couple astronomers trying to sell clothing on QVC?
IrishWhiskey - 2015-01-17
It'd probably come across like Mike Rowe's classic QVC videos.

"So there's a bag... and your cat can play in it. Or not. I mean, it might want to, cats are weird. Fifteen dollars for this cat bag, because why not, right?"

I will only buy clothes from astronomers if it's a sexy silk shirt with lots of sexy lady designs on it.

That print looks just like your anus from a million miles away.

Moons are just planets that orbit other planets. That is literally the definition of a moon.

But seriously "what is a planet?" come the fuck on! A PLANET certainly isn't a MOON and definitely NOT A STAR because PLANETS ORBIT STARS, NOT OTHER PLANETS.
EvilHomer - 2015-01-18
No, the Moon is a star. Otherwise how would it light up at night?

The dumbest thing about this conversation isn't even the astronomy, it's finding out that lady uses Google and Yahoo.

Jet Bin Fever - 2015-01-21
They just talked about this on one of the newest QI episodes actually. Apparently the Moon meets the requirements of a planet, or something. Anyone remember that and can fill in the details?
Anyway, they may be accidentally correct... at least technically speaking.
