Everybody likes Sailor Mercury. I mean, don't get me wrong, if I said she didn't put a bee in my bonnet, I'd be lying. She's undeniably cute. For me, though, she's always been a very close 2nd to Mars. Mars has always been my favorite, even to this day, and she always will be.
Still, I wouldn't kick Sailor Mercury out of bed.
I wouldn't kick any of them out of bed.
They'd probably hurt me if I did.
il fiore bel
I only knew one person who liked Mercury above anyone else. But I ran across a few hate sites that ripped on her "lame" bubble spray and constipated soldier transformation pose.
Just to be clear, whether Mars is third or fourth depends on whether we are ranking them by Coolest Senshi, or by Senshi I'd Most Want in Bed.
Look what you made me do.
Anybody who doesn't appreciate Sailor Mercury's pose (or any of their poses, for that matter) doesn't deserve any respect.

Why does this turn into a Canadian segment with Stephen King Jr?
The original English run of Sailor Moon was actually produced by a Canadian company. Once it started to go gangbusters an American company swooped in and grabbed the rights for the next season or something, and then it became a clusterfuck of rights overall. One of the reasons there was such a long hiatus for the show before the recent re-release was they were waiting for all the rights they'd given out at random (before realizing they were sitting on an international gold mine) to finally expire.
So you can add "The original English version of Sailor Moon" to the list of things you can blame Canada for.
But yeah, this looks like a whole compilation of clips, and you're gonna see CanCon there because it got started here.

You gotta love the bit of "THEM JAPS IS TAKING OVER" early-90's hysteria in this report.
The Japanese wear Levis, Nike, eat McDonalds, KFC, drink Coke, but once our kids start watching they're cartoons its something sinister.
NEXT ON DATELINE: Is it even possible to put an entire Japanese toy company in an internment camp? We say America is up to the task!
