I'd been out of pocket for a few days, so I hadn't heard anything about this until now. I had to find out who it could have possibly made mad, and of-fucking-course it's Jim Sterling and his ilk.
One of the funniest things about Gamergate is how proudly people like Sterling committed career suicide.
What Caminante meant to say was that it's really about ethics in gaming journalism.
What SteamPoweredKleenex meant to say was obscured by their constant, shrill whining.
You know, you're allowed to think whoever takes up that mantra is a dork not worth listening to WHILE ALSO believing it's ridiculous to think that bikini armor leads to real life Law & Order SVU episodes. Not everyone has to take a polarizing lockstep "with us or against us" stance.
Meanwhile, Brianna Wu is now a branded traitor to "supporters" for merely sitting down to talk with Brad Wardell. What a bunch of friendly, open, inclusive peeps.
Pretty sure Sterling was clear about being anti-rapeababygate. Regardless he is a total dildo.

There is definite username submission synchronicity going on here since I picture the kid needing to escape with...wait for it..a MacGuyver style bomb.

Son, please. The rec center said they'd ban us if you don't stop singing.

So.. This is like a Somethingawful thing?

But is it art?
Kind of reminds me of Bob's Burgers for some reason. I could picture Gene singing this.

Meanwhile, my game about a fully-grown man in a shower full of children can't even get off the ground!

I love how this is allowed on Greenlight, as is Hatred, but the dude who tried to get his gay dating sim on Greenlight a few months ago got told it's content wasn't appropriate.
Probably because Steam has this really weird thing where they allow games with nudity, but it's an anime dating sim with nudity then it's not allowed. I guess they're paranoid about "you've got a friend in japan" crap flooding the service? Or how they don't want to deal with the legal shit of most of the characters obvious being under the age of 18?
I think it's more likely the game got rejected on "no dating sims with nudity" grounds rather than the gay factor.
Yeah, but you know it's going to happen eventually. I'm certain Valve is putting some thought into an Adults Only section, the funny thing being that a game like Hatred is going to do more to advance that than any anime dating game ever could.
