At least this one seems to be fairly realistic; when I was growing up DRUGS was just a thing you weren't supposed to do, usually represented by "pills" because they didn't think they should show kids how to use them. And that's horrible advice. For all I knew a cigarette was the same as a spliff and a can of beer was the same as a bottle of vodka. I was scared to take Tylenol because it said "drug" on the back of the box. Thanks, 90s.

Back in high school, I had a crush on a girl in civics class. Then I found out she was really into the "D.A.R.E." program. She and the other members of her school club wrote & performed cringe-inducing anti-drug/anti-drunk driving skits and performed them at the pep rallies.
