I didn't lose power, so I'm just sort of ignoring the huge mess outside until I have to go somewhere.

we got about 3 feet. I spent the morning digging my car out. fortunately my parents are retired and I'm a full time student, so none of us had anywhere we needed to go. And we live right in town, not out in the middle of nowhere, so our street was plowed. My university is closed tomorrow, and probably will be Tuesday as well, so I'm not in a big hurry.

Good to hear! Speaking of losing power, when I went to get my TP (this was at like 1AM; I also got beer) the credit card machine didn't seem to be working for the guy in front of me so I was like "oh shit power's gonna go out." I don't know why but the CC machines always go out first. So I was like "I've got cash", paid and literally two seconds out the door all the power in a 50 block radius went out, just like that. I live on a hill and it usually takes me 10 minutes to walk to my supermarket, it took me at least an hour, in complete darkness. On the way I saw several abandoned public busses, it was like playing Fallout. I just really had a shit. But I'm glad I decided to get that beer too :)
