Auto Five for Noam, The Godfather of Academe Trolling.

Oscar Wildcat - 2016-05-16 Noam has made dropping trou and putting one's dick in the faculty punch-bowl into an art-form. Plus he has this strange effect on EvilHolden and his isotopes, almost like kryptonite. I'll bet he's a lot of fun at parties.

EvilHomer - 2016-05-16 Being a lot of fun at parties is really all he's good for, the crusty old Khmer gatekeeper.

EvilHomer - 2016-05-16 Meme - it's me, evidently. You may have missed the following: http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=153111

EvilHomer - 2016-05-16 Anyways, if Chomsky were a pony, what do you think his Cutie Mark would be?
|
Oscar Wildcat - 2016-05-16 If I were king of the world, I would have produced a weekly show entitled "Hunker in the Bunker". Each week, it'd have guests along with regulars like Amy Goodman and Noam Chomsky. Amy would wear a WWII helmet and be chomping on a cigar stub behind a massive steel desk, Noam in a directors chair all scratching his scraggly beard, leather elbow patches _on_ his leather elbow patches, tending to a fat meerschaum pipe packed with a fine Dutch Hawaiian. They'd cover the week's events, calibrate the doomsday clock, share a pipe or two, and generally edge us all one step closer to oblivion in a convenient hour long format.
|
EvilHomer - 2016-05-17 Do you really think they'd be willing to comply? I mean, Chomsky maybe - for all his fashionable protestations against the system, Chomsky is rather fond of the violence of the state, and I am sure he'd be happy to support King Wildcat's global reign just so long as your royal legates are enforcing policies he himself approves of - but Amy Goodman? Even if she liked you, it'd be kind of hard on her public image to go from "Democracy Now" to "Absolute Monarchy Forever".
Is she working voluntarily, or is she doing your show out of fear for the lives of her family?
|
Oscar Wildcat - 2016-05-17 I'm a benevolent dictator, I'd make her an offer she couldn't refuse. "Hunker in the Bunker" would be replacing the PBS News Hour in it's regular slot. The show would open with Judy Woodruff and Margaret Warner lashed to the bed of a tumbrel being drug off to the town square to the sound of tolling bells. Perhaps even tolling the News Hour theme?
How could she resist?
