Skip to ~:40 to avoid yet another talking head saying Trump shouldn't tweet so much.
"Do the media report fake news regularly or occasionally? Seventy percent said yes."
Fox once again pretending that it's not part of the media.
Not sure why Fox would create a graphic that is misleading AND makes them look bad, but hey, that's Fox for you.
I miss the days when I could see a Fox News headline, chuckle, and move on.
Now the entire mainstream media is so absurd that Fox doesn't seem half as ridiculous in comparison as they used to.
She would have set a liberal supreme court, which would have been a major step towards unfucking up American laws.
I know. A liberal supreme court would have been perfect and fixed all our problems, because that's what liberals do. Now it's ruined! ;__;
Hey, if Trump gets to choose another 1 or 2 right-wing extremists to the supreme court you can just kiss this little 'land of the free' experiment goodbye.
Welcome to The Land of Corporate Rule Theocratic Totalitarianism.
518 days since the 2016 election and the Trump fandom still feels the need to shoehorn Hillary into every possible conversation.
Almost like they're trying to distract themselves from something.
Isn't it pathetic that DQL's counter-arguments are literally hyperbole? Hyperbole by definition is never a valid counter-argument to anything, as that is a logical fallacy.
The death of logic and reason in this country, due to the underfunding and slow dying gasps of education, has led directly to us electing a megalomaniac businessman who has no business leading us. This may sound hyperbolic in itself, but there is an overwhelming wealth of data that supports my argument. The failing of white men in particular in higher education compared to every other combination of ethnicity and gender, combined with the (thankfully, shrinking) majority that white men have in the multiple electoral college-driven voting blocks in the US is one such piece of evidence.
I am becoming emotionally and intellectually numb to repeatedly seeing straw man and red herring arguments like the garbage coming out of DQL, garbage that is probably grounded in a deep insecurity and hatred for an imagined elite.
As for me? I am just a kid who grew up poor in an urban center with crackheads to run away from, public schooling, publicly funded grant money to get me out of that shitpit and get into a decent Californian college. Now I am FINALLY, in my thirties, entering the six figure wage bracket I was thinking might come someday...only to see that I face mountains of future challenges to maintain this, as well as massive expenses that bring my effective wages down. But, I am still grateful, as I should enjoy some job security through all this training, and don't think I will be vulnerable to economic swings that are more likely every year thanks to our destabilizing leadership.
As for the trite, predictable bullshit that comes regularly from the minds and mouths of people like DQL, I imagine by now it only helps to prove to those who might have been unsure what their political leanings should be that promoting the likes of Trump was a misguided notion, really just grounded in hatred and insecurity rooted in real economic failings that Obama did not show enough passion towards perhaps, even though we have undeniably been on steady economic gains for years now. White males are always welcome to join the economy of the future, but they will never be given anything on a silver platter again, surely not now after hundreds of thousands of non-white Americans are being threatened with deportation or job loss. Be humble, grow up, think outside yourselves, and join a global community before the world suffers a truly tragic loss and we have no future to offer our children at all.

However, the mainstream news media is suffering from the collapse of its business model. You're going to see more filler, more pandering, more celebrity gossip and stupid human interest stories, more echoing of official press releases, as the free press bleeds out, struggles to survive. 54 percent of Americans get their news from Facebook. If you've seen Facebook, that's got to make you cringe HARD.
If you can afford it, you should pay for some news. I keep trying to put aside a hundred bucks for a year of The New York Times. One of these days I'll do it.
I've done it before. No matter what Trump says, you get more than one point of view when you subscribe to real newspaper, even if it's on your phone. We need that shit. I keep blocking conservatives on Twitter and Youtube, because I know they're just going to piss me off, and I know that means I'm building my own bubble. It's a real pleasure to occasionally read something you disagree with that isn't a dishonest right wing screed from disingenuous pieces of shit like Paul Jospeph Watson of Louder with Crowder.
You know what? I don't need Netflix. I need to stop breathing my own air.
I'm sorry, I saw you complaining about a six figure salary not being enough and decided to ignore the entire rest of your post.

Wait a minute,;are you talking to me? That would be really super dumb if you were, but I can't figure out who else you'd be talking to. When you talk about (to directly quote DQL) "the entire mainstream media", you're talking about a huge industry, 99.999 percent of whom does not earn six figures. My father was a local newspaper reporter, who covered the courts for 35 years, and did occasional investigative pieces on discriminatory tax policies and child abuse. You think HE made six figures? He did not.
Yeah, I know, Anderson Cooper is doing fine. Not the issue.
Meanwhile, most news agencies don't have as many foreign offices any more. And reporters who used to be investigating and writing are expected to be tweeting all the time, or they'll lose their jobs, and as the industry scales back, you're going to get less and less depth, and more inaccuracy as news is reported faster.
This is the real crisis. It's bigger than Trump being president. The free press brought down Joseph McCarthy and Richard Nixon, so, of course, Trump has declared them the enemy, we're doomed without them.
Anyway, if you weren't talking to me, never mind.

I love the smell of STRAWMAN in the morning.
Lying is a glowing endorsement of any idea's value.
John Holmes Motherfucker
A liberal supreme court isn't going to "solve all our problems". Nothing is going to "solve all our problems." This is like that smug cunt on Fox News pointing out that, even with Obamacare, we're all going to die.

>>>Lying is a glowing endorsement of any idea's value.
That's sort of cryptic. I can't tell who is supposed to be lying, or what idea we're discussing. Did you get it from a fortune cookie?
The First Amendment is flawed.
Humans are deeply flawed. Comparatively, the first amendment is divine.
To reproduce is human. To create divine.
I am not making a six figure salary. After taxes and fees, it is still 5 figure. I am saying I trained, and worked (total 7 years with a salary, always about the same, 40-50k/yr), and now at age 34, I am finally breaking pre-tax into the six figure range.
That is upper middle class, yes, but I have also worked my ass off for it. And am I complaining about the wage itself? Not at all, I have more than enough cash for my needs, but I have a lot of stress, work 70 hour weeks every week, and get 4 weeks vacation per year.
If you still want to totally disregard my rant, fine, but you're an asshole, and the me of 14 years ago would have not thought twice about telling that to your face, when I literally had a bankruptcy affecting my family.
meant as reply to monkey napoleon above. But since he is using the ad hominem logical fallacy to attempt to make my statements disreputable, that, too, is simply a logical fallacy. You may want to read Candle in the Dark by Sagan.
