The dirtywave m8 is today's answer to this program. Good tracker. Polyend also makes some decent trackers. Or you could just get an elektron box.

For some reason I've bounced off of DAW work flows. Which doesn't really make sense because I live half my life in various complicated proprietary editing programs I've taught myself.
Way overpriced, but if I wasn't spending my money on other toys..
