I am glad we got the version of Gremlins that we did. I bring it out every Christmas, and I enjoy how it's just dark enough to still be a fun, subversive annual tradition.

The shot of the science teacher was astonishingly creepy, too. I guess that feeling comes from rewatching a scene for decades.
