Poetv is made of geeks. Anything having to do with technological gimmickry automatically gets a million votes in the hopper.

Anyway isn't the downside of this technology that if you try to touch the hologram your fingers will be ripped to shreds by the spinning mirror?
SolRo - 2007-09-01
The same problem exists with blenders, but most people aren't stupid enough to stick their hand in when it's on.

Innocent Bystander - 2007-09-01
"The same problem exists with blenders". Really? A lot of people want to stick their hands in blenders?

athodyd - 2007-09-01
You're right. If only the mirror was surrounded by some sort of plexiglass cage--but who has the budget for that kind of thing?

Gill_Sans - 2007-09-02
I guess they should team up with the saw stopper guys.

Will it blend: Human hands!

Meatsack Jones - 2007-09-01
At least it didn't end with "Thank you for your attention". That's new.
oddeye - 2007-09-01
Absolutely amazing, can't wait for this kind of technology to become mainstream.
Caminante Nocturno - 2007-09-01
Okay, great, great. Hey, can you make an image of a giant floating head, and then make it call out for Teenagers with Attitude?
Stupid Lisa Garbage Face - 2007-09-01
It won't be mass adopted until someone starts showing porn on it.

Maybe not... but this has far more practical implications than a true hologram, so does it really matter? -Admiral Ackbar

This technology has actually been around for a few decades but it's nice to see a more modern take on it. Even if it's still incredibly limited and impractical.
