That said, it's impossible to not look like a huge dork while you're riding a unicycle.

Personal anecdote: I learned how to unicycle. As a teenager, a girl told me she was not impressed by my ability to unicycle. Moreover, my hard-won skill made her less inclined to bang me. My unicycle has been sorely neglected since.
