I don't know if I'd go as far as to call it "many" or "gratuitous." In a way, EVERY cameo in every movie ever made is "gratuitous."

Plus since Tony Stark's appearance is connecting this release to one in the future I wouldn't call that a gratuitous cameo, either.

Also, Stan Lee has cameos in damned near every Marvel character film these days, but this one may be more real-life than we think.
