Desidiosus What's to troll? It's pretty obvious in retrospect that Palin was great for getting the Republican base into a froth but not so good at convincing people on the fence to vote Republican. And the base alone won't win them elections.

I wish more people had made that point about 'big-city values' during the election. I mean Palin's "small-town" she was mayor of was also the meth and rape capitol of Alaska. If that's her idea of real America, I'm glad I live in the fake one.
simon666 Agreed. Also what comes to mind is Jon Stewart's response to Palin when he said New York was good enough for the terrorists.
What he said was that OBL was probably embarrassed when he found out that he only bombed the "capital of fake America" and that's why he went into hiding.

pastorofmuppets You misunderstand. This was someone with actual experience in government, who said something somewhat relevant, not just on TV but *on CNN*. No one pooped in their hand and threw it or anything. It's mind-blowing, actually.
