Desidiosus Hey, I remember this! I didn't remember Suzanne Vega actually being in the video, though.
Candlejackv616 Ditto i thought it was Originally just a bunch of Dancing 90s looking folk.
theSnake You! Stop that! Stop banging on the cappuccino machine those are expensive.
spikestoyiu I have a hard time figuring out how this could possibly be more 90's.
Candlejackv616 Hence why i love it so and shower it with stars...hmmm that sounded so oddly wrong.
That said good song, catchy as fuck and not a bad set of pipes on proto-hipster like chick Vega. Now that song luka, that blows hard, but i digress.
Tripitaka This is pure distilled 90s. Other non-sucky Vega songs:
99.9 Fahrenheit Degrees
Caramel
My Favorite Plum
Bort Submitting a new link, because the one that's there now is 99% hiss.
If there is any song that shoudn't be broken by MP3 compression, it's this one: this is the song that, back when they were developing MP3 compression, was hardest to get right. Once they could get Tom's Diner sounding proper under MP3, they knew they'd pretty much nailed the algorithm. So Suzanne Vega is occasionally called "The Mother of the MP3".
This song's lyrics are maddeningly pointless; it doesn't even distinguish itself as a snapshot of a typical morning. It's a song about nothing, which I suppose is appropriate, since Tom's Diner is also the diner from "Seinfeld".
