Syd Midnight There was a dude on Iwo Jima who jumped on a grenade to save his buddies and it went off and he survived. He even pulled a second, dud grenade under him along with the first. Man his buddies really owe him some beers. Just look up Congressional Medal of Honor winners for jumpin on a hand grenade (it's pretty much automatic) he's the one guy who didn't get his posthumously.
