BHWW I've come to admire this series; it certainly is lowbrow, but gleefully so with the bonus of being stylish and somewhat accurate in it's mimicing of US Cartoon Network-style fare. If director Hiroyuki Imaishi (aka the director of Gurren Lagann) was simply aping Western cartoons it wouldn't be so great but he's doing something crazy and wild within this sort of framework and made it into something of his own.

As far as I know, these were weapons Megatron and Optimus used in one fight scene in the original series cartoon that were never seen again.
So, deep geekery right there.
TimidAres Im not usually one for anime, but I was impressed with this.
There are so many reasons why Im 5-ing this, but it comes down to 2 things:
1. Nearly every robot seen in this resembles a G-1 character.
2. The cunning sneer that Lolitron gives at 3:27 made me giggle uncontrollably, that was taken directly from the G-1 show.
