I didn't shop there regularly, but I would pop in for a few things every now and then on my way back from the Wal-Mart up on La Cholla.

I'd say Arizona was the most fucked up state I've lived in, but then again my home state just sent Rand Paul to the Senate. Close race.

Valvados, not only did our home state just sent Rand Paul to represent them in congress, but they recently announced plans for a creationist theme park that could receive up to 25% of its funding from state grants. The Huffington Post coverage will have to do since all major in-state papers seem to have deleted all mention of this project.

Yeah, I heard about that, but I tried to avoid mentioning it since thinking about it for too long sends me into a state which could easily be mistaken for rabid.

Ah, but he says he doesn't believe in God. Therefore, he's a liberal. He shot those people because he doesn't think there's a hell, and therefore has no reason to act in a moral manner. To stop these killings we need more God, more guns (if that 9 year old were armed she'd be alive) and less healthcare.

The guy who shot up a liberal church left a note basically saying "Because Glenn Beck says so", and that did nothing to tone down the rhetoric or stop radicals from blaming it on their political opponents. I'm long since past the point of hoping that there'll be a backlash against the fear and anger-based unadulterated lunacy.
