How about you shut the fuck up and just play the video?
I concur. G4 is half of everything I hate about gaming.
LET'S TALK DRAGONS FOR A MOMENT! BORN WITH A SOUL OF A DRAGON! WHIRLWIND SPRINT!
It's kind of amazing how much he thinks people give a shit about dragon souls.
I dunno, he sounds mostly embarrassed about saying phrases like "dragon souls."

Can't wait to play it myself.

I'm going to boycott this game due to the devs choosing to focus on the land of the Nords rather than going to Kittyland next. Which is more interesting: a fake viking who doesn't have boats or wear shirts and lives in the frigid north or a fucking TALKING CAT who likes drugs and sells them across a magical empire? Clearly the developers are racist against Khajit and will not receive a penny from me until they stop treating the Khajit as second class (computerized) citizens.
Making a game the size of Skyrim look anywhere remotely respectable is impossible unless you make everything a snowy wasteland or a radioactive wasteland or whatever. Textures are expensive. Why am I responding seriously to a joke post about furry fandom?
My favourite part of all the stuff I've seen so far: orcs sporting dreadlocks. That is so fuckin racist.
I'm pissed they aren't going to Valenwood next. The wood elves are like reverse vegans, they don't use plant matter for anything; they live in cities made of bone, I don't think elves can get more brutal than that. Also, gorillamen live there.
Oh and, Just Cause 2 is like twenty times the size of Skyrim and beautiful.
It is, but it makes large use of procedural generation and it is literally a sandbox game - the world is the gameplay (unless you want to play the boring stupid missions). Not in every game is the content and the form so intertwined. Still, I'd rather play JC2 than anything Bethesda poots out so point noted.

GOD DAMN IT.
This looks fucking amazing. There goes 100+ hours of free time.

I can't wait to see this and whatever crazy ass mods people make. Hopefully they'll keep their word and make mods playable on the consoles.

As much as I am looking forward to Skyrim and have no doubt it will be fun, I have to give Bethesda some point deductions for showing the same footage at every single public event during E3. This is the longest clip, but the first 7 minutes of it is the SAME supposed "HEY LOOK AT ME PLAYING THE GAME" thing they showed at least 2 other times with different media outlets, both times with the dev guy pretending he was actually playing the game in real time.

I saw a mud turtle the other day.
You stayed well clear of it, I hope.

Looks like Oblivion with a decent graphical upgrade, the only thing I hope Bethesda learned is to optimize this game for the fucking PC so it doesn't stutter like crap until the community decides to fix it themselves.
That aside, I kind of have a soft spot for the elder scrolls, it goes all the way back to my mid teens when I played Arena and then came across a demo of Daggerfall.
I can't say it doesn't bother me when a bunch of people who weren't even aware of how awesome Daggerfall was back in the mid/late 90s are now talking like they know shit about the elder scrolls.
Back in the day we didn't just have square miles of terrain, NO, no we had an entire continent sucka, what do they know about that? Shit.
Also, regarding the tag, either you're being a smarty pants about how people were outraged that Fallout 3 was going to be "oblivion with guns", or you just went full newfag.

Man those tits were really well rendered. I liked that you can change the model you're looking at on the fly like that. And its clothes too.

The only thing I care about is whether they brought back levitation.
Also, I'm genuinely surprised to see that Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb still exist. I thought they vanished or something in like 2006.
Levitation is still out probably, the cities are instanced again.
That's some bullshit, realtalk. I want this game to be more Morrowind than Oblivion.
Myabe the really large cities are cells unto themselves, but according to most pre-release info and interviews, most of the smaller, more common settlements are part of the world cell.
