Actually, Mr notascientist, they're perfectly congruous. If you'll recall, the video opens with our hero entering the gate to the Oblivion realm of Madness. The fact that he comes out batshit insane, wielding a fish and swimming in midair, makes perfect sense within the canon in-universe setting.
