From what I've read, that tends to be a major hiccup they gloss over by just repeating the question, "If there is no reason to harass me, then why are they harassing me?". I am genuinely curious how professionals snap these particular people out of this cycle and back to a reality where everyone, including doctors, are not in on their conspiracy theory.

Exactly the issue here. If you get this person in front of some "help," the paranoia and conspiracy complexes kick in, and they rationalize away the doctor that's telling them they're crazy as yet another person trying to make them think they're crazy.

I've watched a lot of these videos and the overriding theme seems to be that the government is "after" these people because they know about the gangstalkers. It's a weird cyclical thing...they're being gangstalked because the know about the gangstalkers, which begs the question why are they being gangstalked in the first place etc. In some cases, though, the person making the videos thinks that the government wants to kill them or whatever because they "know" something they're not supposed to know, like they overheard a conversation about how Obama intends to kill every American citizen, etc.
There are others on YouTube with this illness (which it really is) who don't buy into a government conspiracy so much as they think that every single person within a 10 block radius of where they live hates them and is actively trying to force them to leave the neighborhood.
