This makes me laugh like an idiot and I don't care who knows it.

When I was in fifth grade, my dad hated the fact I watched this show. He used to sit me down and say, son, when you get older, you won't be amused by this kind of humor. You'll realize how obnoxious and vulgar these two are, and you'll thank me for making you watch uplifting programs instead.

Turns out, he was wrong!

I would watch this with my mom and she and I would enjoy it immensely until my killjoy dad came by and switched it to golf or formula one or whatever other worthless bullshit non-entertainment. Mom would also sometimes remind me not to tell my catholic school teachers that she watched this with me or let me see it. Glad that it's back. Hope to watch new episodes again when I visit the parents.

This first came out right after I finished high school so of course it was hilarious to me. Second day on the college campus someone told me a group of about 20 people in the co-ed dorm was watching these two on VHS tapes all night. I went there and met up a bunch of good people. Admittedly, I felt like my brain had shrunk a few inches after 10 hours of watching them while eating junk food and soda.

My mother would just make comments about how stupid they sounded. She also saw Mike Judge being interviewed on Letterman one time and called me to say how much he looked and sounded just like those "two idiots."

My dad introduced me to this type of show.

He was in his 40s at the time...

In retrospect, awesome childhood.

I don't have cable, but I get a few channels in. Now I'm glad MTV is one of them.

I can say that watching and idolizing the humor on this show when I was 11-13 years old has shaped me into a sarcastic, comment-on-everything, mock-everything fucking annoying asshole. I also know that sometimes I can be damn funny, and for this I thank Beavis, Butthead & Mr. Show.

It feels good knowing that I haven't outgrown this show.
