StanleyPain What's awesome/sad about Juggalos is that they're not even the product of any sort of significant social factors, as were most of the major urban gangs through the 50's-80's. They're just stupid white trash (usually middle class) who have a retarded sub-culture based around a shitty gimmick band.
They didn't even get classified as a gang threat for being bad-ass...it was mostly for their chains of petty vandalism, shoplifting rings, meth dealing, and affinity for child porn.
simon666 The Juggalos are learning the hard lesson that when government names/classifies things, a 'gang' in this case, that the act of naming/classifying makes the thing so. Juggalos may not have the properties commonly associated with 'gang' but because they have been named/classified a 'gang' they will be treated as one, effectively making them one to a huge number of people.
This is like a case study of Foucault's bio-power.
