Born in the RSR I've watched this show recently, it's actually not that bad up until about season 4 or 5.
Rudy I just remember the epic Bjoran Vs. Cardassian pissing match that seemed to be the central conflict on almost every episode. Personally, I wished the conflict would eventually end in mutually assured destruction of both races but it never came.
Nikon It's my personal favorite among the Trek shows, but there are a few things I would've changed if it were up to me. It's not perfect but the Dominion War was quite good.
