Chalkdust speaks the truth!

I had the misfortune of catching part of the incredibly bland 03 remake starring Michael Douglas and Albert Brooks - like most remakes of good movies, decent movies, and even movies that weren't all that great in the first place it wasn't horrifically bad so much as it was bland, gray Extruded Movie Product completely untainted by anything resembling a personality or that wasn't test-grouped and "4 quadrant"ed into tedium.
