One of the best parts of this movie is the soundtrack. I'm not sure how they convinced Lene Lovich to sing that really goofy song during the driving scene.
Jim Carrol's scene at 23:45 is outright ridiculous (why did they even bother to give him a guitar?).
This is a great movie that I hadn't thought about since I was ten.
I am aware that he had a band, but if you watch the scene he looks VERY uncomfortable with the instrument. I don't think he ever played anything on the band's recordings other than perhaps cigarette throat.
