There's probably only a handful of pre-recorded laugh flares. The trick is to find isolated copies of these, reverse/flip the waveform and then add them into the show at the precise times and the laugh sound combined with the inverted laugh sound would cancel each other out and leave just the dialogue. By no means simple, but theoretically possible... and while you're at it, give The IT Crowd the same treatment.
Seriously though, I love this show and would pay for a box set if they removed the laugh track. Thank god Peep Show doesn't have one...
