I saw this when it came out (I was seven) but I really discovered it when I was in college in the 80s. They showed it on Campus at least twice during my four years. It's really very good. The camp humor is smart and funny. Caesar Romero, Frank Gorshin, and Burgess Meredith were terrific veteran character actors who brilliantly cast in their villain roles. Adam West was... well, you know...
Adam West was lucky enough to find the perfect role for his limited range. He was a great comic Batman. Hoever, those next forty years may have been pretty lean. I hope that his gig as cartoon mayor is fairly lucrative.
Seven Arts/H8 Red Adam West is most famous for playing Adam West. His limited range will linger a hundred years after we're all dead.
memedumpster He apparently tanked his career as Batman by failing to learn to talk like Nathan Explosion.
cognitivedissonance Let's be fair here, nobody is casting YOU as Adam West, because your range does not dip into Adam West. I've seen your headshot. I know.
Dread Pirate Roberts Back in 1997, McFarlane wrote an episode of Johnny Bravo that had a VERY similar Adam West in it. This is the only youtube snippet I could find:
