catpenis27 Mitsubishis seem pretty damn solid. I had a 1990 Montero, it was the slowest leakiest piece of shit that needed a new transmission, but the frame and body were built really well. Someone rear-ended me in a Toyota Avalon going about 35-40, and all that happened was my bumper was a little bent. The other person's transmission was poking through the floor of the car.
(I wasn't going to mention this, but you guys will probably enjoy knowing that it was an Asian lady on her cellphone).
SolRo Everything you thought is relevant to this crash, isn't.
You are dumb.
Old_Zircon I got the lego monorail for Christmas back in the 80s, it was pretty rad.
Ursa_minor Yep just these guys racing up pikes peak in a stock Mistubishi.
catpenis27 I truly have no idea why I wrote that shit.
SolRo "those asshole cages always take all the credit" - engineers, metallurgists, welders, seatbelts.
Ursa_minor Presumably something that wasn't as bad.
Vaidency Well, there's a 2011 "car falling off Pike's Peak" clip in the related videos after this one plays, so I'd say that's what happened last year.
In fact, it's probably what happens every year, which is why people go watch it in the first place.
fedex oh yeah, way worse than last year
