I'm pretty sure I have this on laserdisc somewhere, but my player broke years ago. It's supposed to be pretty excellent.
It sure is. It is Toole's best performance this side of Beckett (1964), and probably one of the finest historically/politically literate comedies ever. I don't think I've seen a better movie about class identity.
It's good, but it's something of a long haul at being around 2 1/2 hours. But it's quite funny, surreal, and just plain bizarre.
