Mario 16? Ok, let's see....

They just had an advance copy of Super Mario 3D Land.

The smartest thing Nintendo did was to stop numbering most of their sequels so you didn't realize just how beaten to death a franchise was.

So in Russia you could actually buy a commercially released Joe and Mac romhack?

People made plenty of illegitimate business selling romhacks long before people started making them for fun.

I think the most surreal part of this video is how he can't actually figure out what a romhack IS. I guess things were different back in those days.

I think that's one of those soviet ideals. "This game is with little plummer man is like all other games with little plummer man. They are all games."

"A little, with a fat belly, like Mario, man, who has neither pants nor shirt, but with a skin belt and a bunch of hammers."

Uh-oh. Mario's gone Turbo again, hasn't he?

Mario 16 looks unimaginative and lame. I'm so glad Super Mario World exists instead. I consider SMW the best Mario game ever made.
