I wonder what it would take to get David Mitchell and Robert Webb to perform this exact thing. Not saying I want it to happen, I'm just wondering what sort of infernal pact it would take to make them agree to perform this.

But yeah, I'd probably watch it.

Well, things have certainly gone downhill for Harvey Fienstein since his appearance in ID4.

He's got this and that Food Fight CGI crapfest staining his resume. Even for a character actor, that's pretty damning.
StanleyPain - 2012-12-24
He was in Foodfight? Where was he? I watched the whole thing (thanks to that Livestream of it) and I don't think I noticed.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-12-24
According to what I've found he was "Fat Cat Burglar," if that's any help.

Someone posts this, like, every year since it aired and it doesn't get any less painful. Ever.

Heat Miser looks like Guy Fieri.

Devoid of any redeeming factors.

Am I the only one who had no clue this existed? Never once saw this throughout the 80s.
FABIO - 2012-12-24
Not just this, but the entire Heat/Snow Miser thing.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-12-25
Heat/Snow Miser (or their themes) were almost memes among the nerdier set in Jr. High/High school, and by osmosis just about everyone knew at least one lyric. I have to admit it wasn't until I was an adult that I knew the title of the show was "A Year Without Santa Claus," since it wasn't one of the more popular Rankin-Bass productions when compared to the ones with Rudolph or Burl Ives in them.

It was an eagerly-awaited yearly treasure celebrated in a time when a given show might be described as a 'Special.' Like its variations, burnt into many many brains.

This fucking piece of shit here is new to me though. Ugh.

You're not the only one. I saw it in Batman and Robin but I thought it was something original made for Ahnuld's Mr. Freeze to sing along to.

Wow, I remember this song from Batman and Robin.
Jeriko-1 - 2012-12-25
I remember this BEING Batman and Robin.

Probably made by the revived remains of the Vegas variety whores that made the Star Wars Christmas Special.

To be fair, that list includes people like Harrison Ford, Art Carney, Bea Arthur, and Dianne Carol. They probably knew it had certain flaws when they were making it. It's also the Star Wars Holiday Special because it was first released close to Thanksgiving - but it other countries it aired closer to Christmas.
