Candlejackv616 - 2013-02-25 Oh man this guy, I remember his commentary on WWECW and he would just say the most cringe worthy stuff.
Particularly I remember his desperately trying to coin the phrase "Jamaican me crazy" or something along those lines in regards to I think Kofi Kingston's finisher.
Still felt kinda of bad for him as he sort of felt like the Gil of the announcing team.
Cena_mark - 2013-02-25 Yet he's from Ghana. To be fair the WWE was pushing him as a Jamaican.
Candlejackv616 - 2013-02-25 That's right! didn't they just have creative drop the Jamaican bit after awhile?
I think I even remember it being awkwardly brought up in an attempt at humor, either way I sure do love when wrestling decides to delete stuff out of storyline or just never follow through to a conclusion, Gtv sticks out in my mind in particular.
themilkshark - 2013-02-25 Yeah Kingston was Jamaican in the indies, he carried the gimmick over to WWE. They started announcing him from Ghana out of the blue, and suddenly his accent was gone. He was cutting a promo in the ring with Triple H who responded "hey what happened to your Jamaican accent?" Kofi never responded.
