It becomes so stark once the cyan part starts.

you guys get a kickstarter going, i'll start fucking stray dogs under the freeway

I'm relieved that there are so few pictures of the Road Rovers that this video needed to reuse most of them. I'll bet you wouldn't have that problem with Swat Kats or Static Shock.

a camping to bring road rovers back. dosg. zircon's drunk and posting again.
sleep it off z, you'll love me in the morning.
Oh that brings back memories, of the comments section of PoE for Kim Keister and of course, the creepy weirdos who stalked her and acted like they were performing a public service in doing so.
This submission and my comments are brought to you by https://forums.vivisector.org/index.php?topic=351.0
Apparently she (or an unusually competent imposter) resurfaced on Livejournal in 2010.
Also, the typos are cut and pasted directly from the Youtube description. I can't in good conscience say I was exactly sober when I submitted this, but I wasn't drunk.
indeed, upon further investigation it is as you say.

He is right about one thing: One person carn't do this by himself.

I love it when Geocities shakes the dust from its hair and resurrects itself in a youtube video.

Wait so, one of the team members actively had rabies?

It doesn't look like the Road Rovers get much representation from any of those brown people countries.

I was 12 when Road Rovers came out. I thought it looked okay, but never made it through an entire episode. The show wasn't very good, at least to me at that age. the animation quality is sort of mindblowing, I don't know what happened but even WB doesn't make cartoons that look this good anymore.
|BHWW - 2013-03-02 |
It was either this or SWAT Kats
I mean, sides asides from the dogs/cats as members of some sort of special unit motif, they were both lamely animated, short-lived series that for whatever reasons, both the usual and obvious and the not so obvious captivated so many furries seen on PoE.

This reminds me of all those GeoCities sites that used to get posted on Poe-red that were about someone's obsession with terrible cartoons (and typically, one particular character from said cartoons) that everyone but a handful of furries in a basement somewhere forgot about.
My favorite was probably the one by the 30 year old guy who was obsessed with the little bear with the backwards baseball cap from Talespin.
There were acutally a couple of those, all of them creepy as hell, though the 30-something guy was especially so, what with his going on about how he wanted to snuggle and tickle this cartoon bearchild.
Then there was a whole site devoted to a villain who had shown up in a grand total of one episodes of Talespin, or something.
I was revisiting some of the classic PoE red stuff last night and all of it was so much worse than I remembered. I'd forgotten all about Kit N Kay Boodle, and now I wish I could unremember it.
Oh good god, it's still updated too. Fuck.
I'm afraid to see if Jack is still updated.
Hey, you know that 'Anne of Green Gables' cover that everyone's been upset over?
Remember Alisa's Cosplay?
I did some research on Alicia's Cosplay a while back strictly for science and apparently she's now doing some kind of nude webcam thing now, which isn't too surprising really.
Remember Perki Goth and Kandi Raver (or however it was spelled)? That's one I haven't thought of checking up on before/.
OH man, the kind of sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach when I saw a panel of the mother in law from Kit N Kay Boodle and the memories came flooding back. The horrible, horrible memories.
You mean Alisa Kiss? Oh man, you're RIGHT. I liked her better when she was dressing up like Cammy, but I guess nude camwhoring is OK, too.
I used to love how we played it sooooo cool whenever she showed up on the forums. Like: oh yeah, that's you, huh, yeah, I think you're cute I guess - uhhhh but not in a creepy fanboy way!!! And being a model, wow, that must be an interesting job - not that I'm objectifying you, I mean!!! Nope, I'm totally cool with everything you're doing, got just enough ironic detachment here to prove to you that I'm not some lonely internet perv with a couple hundred pictures of your ass.
please keep posting.
I still remember the flash of panic I felt when I saw her and Derek browsing anime DVDs at a mall.
last time I checked Jack is still going strong and it introduced the dumbest plot twist
Someplace or other I saw a forum discussion from a couple years ago where someone convincingly argued that Kim Keister and the PoE forum drama that followed here was what killed PoE red.
I had the realization the other day that I'm well on my way to being the Internet atrocity tourism version of the old hippie who just can't accept that the summer of love ended. THOSE WERE THE DAYS MY FRIEND (the late 90s and early 2000s).
Oh, I remember that, though mostly the rather neat illustration provided by Tal-pass Portaxx(sp?) of Lord Deke Chet with an elongated skull and mouthless face and what was probably supposed to be Kthor as a demonic seal/dog creature.
You just reminded me of the site posted on Poe-red once by the autistic furry who was obsessed with Mrs. Brisby and built his own human-sized doll of her.

I hope Road Rovers fans watch this. I hope the message inspires them. I hope they make more videos just like this, lots of them, with rock songs and video clips and everything else. I hope this thing gets so big, that they finally grab the attention of the big wigs at Warner Bros.
And then I hope Warner Bros has every last video deleted for using copyrighted material.
I'm sure the Road Rovers fandom watched at least part of it before uploading it.
I doubt anyone at Warner Brothers even remembers they have the rights to this steaming turd of a cartoon.
I'd like to think the writers had their hands cut off, and the animators had their eyes put out before they were fired.

Oh cool, the theme song is Freakazoid with the words altered.
That was done simply to add insult to injury, seeing as they cancelled Freakazoid and premiered this shitty cartoon in it's former timeslot.
Ohhhh, you just reminded me why I resented this cartoon as a kid. Totally repressed memory.
