Desalinated water still has a faint trace of salt, which makes it highly addictive. Too bad I live in a country with plenty of freshwater :(

What the hell are you talking about?

Hooker - 2013-08-09
The desalinated water I've drank (which was an on-ship one so probably nowhere near as sophisticated a system as would be feeding a city) never managed to completely remove the salt and left water that was as refreshing as fresh water and addicting as things with salt on it.

What you are tasting is fish jizz, not salt. And you are addicted to it.

Salty water fountains in Florida are public crack dispensers. Just enough salt to taste sweet.

I'll prefer the natural taste of billion-year-old-purified-by-the-sands-of-time-cave-water out of our rapidly disappearing aquifer, thank you very much, and so will all of my cows.
