It's weird.. 'Warriors' was always one of those movies that would come in when I was in college when I was too high to remember lots of it. We'd just wait for the 'come out and plaaay' (oh yeah wu tang clan) and drink more. So my housemate downloaded and was watching this one and I was like "what the fuck? Did I seriously miss that much of the movie?" Glad to know it was a directors cut.
I do think it's cool that they did this, but it's a little unnecessary given the plot: I never saw Warriors as a graphic novel, more like something that would inspire graphic novels, including - but not limited to - 'Watchmen.' The interspersing of Miller-esque shit is cool and all, but just doesn't seem right.
I hate this comic-book thing they've done to it so...five stars for evil, I guess...

Can someone tell me if anything is different, other than the comic book transitions?
Nothing else is different, no. Just the dumb transitions.
I love this movie, but not this comic-book butchering job they did. Good thing i have the original cut on dvd. Stars for that cut.

When I saw the re-cut, I was kind of bummed how it made the Furies entrance seem less cool...
Btw-- has the remake been scrapped? There was chatter about it 5 years ago.
Oh yeah, this is that one that came out when Sin City was still popular. It could've been worse? I'm glad the video game came out behind it though, that was pretty fun.

Way to completely and utterly remove the atmosphere from the film, you fucking twits.
