I was on Acutane in high school. I had some moderately bad acne, but nowhere near this bad. I started clearing up after only 3 months, on a guaranteed lesser dosage than this guy. For this guy to still be this bad after 18 weeks, yeesh.
Only side effect I experienced was skin on my face getting really dry.
Going back to the muscle gain thing. Last month I started coming down with a case of rosacea. Red splotches on cheeks and nose, followed by little red pimples that didn't look or feel like any acne I had before (didn't respond to cream, stayed the same size instead of ebbing). The ONLY change I had made to my lifestyle was getting serious about working out. Half hour of intense weights six times a week. Four months after starting that routine, the rosacea showed up, and I noticed it flared up bad right after working out. Eventually went to the dermatologist for some cream (holy shit is it expensive!). Also the remedy of keeping ice cubes in my cheeks while working out like a damn chipmunk. It works!
So yeah, working out can be murder to facial skin conditions. Just thought I'd share :(
He's quite funny from his other videos, and in addition I have OCD and would feel enormous relief at him popping zits. I don't get off on zit popping as a fetish but I don't really mind acne at all.
