Holy shit, I had this tape!

I did too. I got it on vcd in palo alto from some guy who also sold me a ren and stimpy tank top. I don't remember the bee scene but the rest of this is haunting familiar. This would also bee a good time to remember that the 'hyperbees' tag is not activated.

...and the sequel, The Gate to the Mind's Eye. The music on one of them was done by Thomas Dolby.

Segments of this were used in movies. The only one I can remember specifically is Lawnmower Man.

What, they didn't even make their own CGI? Cheap bastards!

It's the other way around. These were essentially compilations of the then burgeoning CGI field. There were a couple of things from TV advertisements in there, as well.

I might even own this on VHS.

Whoever captured this is completely incompetent at video capture, though.

Does anybody care about dupes anymore, really? It's been years on so much stuff. http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=23922

sorry about the dupe, but search is completely broken

I'm fine with dupes, especially if the video was submitted 7 years ago. It's not like "Garbage Day" or anything else on the Top Favorites. Plus the old link just goes to some other website.

What'd be cool is if when dupes are noticed and/or reported after they clear the hopper, if the old link and the new link could be combined, comments and all. The whole "voting down" of dupes usually makes me realize there's something cool that I haven't seen before on the site, but to comment on it is to have a conversation with virtually nothing at all.

Looking at the original link though, where the fuck is zatojones? Also forgot to star.
