I've been a fan of theirs since they did the force unleashed videos. I wish they would strike out and do something original but I guess they make a lot of money out of commercial contracts.
They have been trying for years to get their own film producted - 'The Goon' but they've had a hard time getting the funding for it. You can find the teaser for it online - there are a few shots in here toward the end actually.
Man, lightsabers are looking cheesier and cheesier, they have not aged well at all. Every time a lightsaber shows up in this video it kicks the quality down a whole rung.
Those are all from video game cutscenes or (in the case of Star Wars) promo trailers. Go look up the Arkham games on YouTube for Bats and The Old Republic for the Star Wars ones.
While their expertise isn't in doubt, I see this stuff and think, "This is kind of why video games and movies can get away with sucking so much from a story perspective most of the time." I think the writers and directors have the least amount of meddling when it comes to the action sequences beyond length and what beats they want to hit (when someone dies). I've seen scripts that seem like they were written by a 5-year-old because their action sequences are usually something like:
"And then BOOM, the whole wall explodes and MONSTER X starts beating the shit out of HERO Y and I don't know what happens, but HERO Y GETS SERVED, winding up under a pile of rubble and stuff that's on fire! Yowza!"
So the people who are good at doing that kind of stuff get to do it without any real interference from the idiots. I wish the writing part worked like that.
star wars clips are part from the new online game and the other part from that not very good single player jedi academy followup (darth vaders emo clone one)
