Incredibly awesome. Really cool how he was piping audio from the TV channel into the song.

Oh hey, cool! Is this *goto80* goto89, or some other goto80?
Old_Zircon - 2014-06-29
*goto80* I'm pretty sure.

According to the comments the software is actually running on a raspberry pi and controlling the TV's teletext functions, not running in the TV itself, which makes sense.

goto80 was the first chiptune musician I ever heard, back in, what? My senior year of highschool / freshman year of not-going-to-college? I didn't know too much about him (them? Weren't there two guys in the band?), just what I could glean from the sparse Web 1.0 resources on hand; some mp3s, and a couple videos of him jamming on Gameboys.

I'm glad to see he's still doing his thing, and I'm doubleplus glad that he's got a YT channel now!

I got fun flashbacks to the Demo/Tracker Scene when I saw that sequencing near the start.
