Huh. I always thought 20 Fingers had did this song.

EvilHomer - 2014-10-18 According to Limewire, it was either Lords of Acid or Rammstein.
dairyqueenlatifah - 2014-10-18 Oh yeah, I completely forgot that Weird Al Yankovic recorded every single parody song ever made too.
Old_Zircon - 2014-10-18 20 Fingers produced this, it was their first single.

For those who don't know about Xuxa, this is a TV show aimed at kids. Xuxa was allegedly running a high priced call girl service with her underage co-hosts on the side. Which makes this super creepy.
dairyqueenlatifah - 2014-10-18 Okay, PoeTv is doing something weird because when I posted my above comment and stars, this was just the music video for the song, not this video.
That being said, I'm pretty disturbed. WHAT THE FUCK? I remember the American version of Xuxa, where she had some animal friends that were dudes in costumes (one was a panda bear). It was indeed a show aimed at very young children. This is in Brazil though, so maybe all those kids dancing in the audience don't know enough English to understand and just like the sound of it?
Either way, I don't know how Xuxa or Gillette thought this was a cool thing to do. But all the kids seem to know the song already so...hmm, Brazil, you crazy.
Never knew anything about Xuxa's call girl service either.
Old_Zircon - 2014-10-18 I only know about Xuxa's call girl service through the B movie grapevine, so it could easily be a myth but she definitely did make a movie in the early 80s that featured a graphic sex scene between her and a 12 year old boy, and that was scandal enough to mess up her career.
I submitted the regular music video by mistake, changed the title and description to match it, then decided to submit this one as a replacement and changed the description and title again. You must have seen it in the 5 minutes before the live video got voted up.

Old_Zircon - 2014-10-18 I have a Brazilian pressing of one of Xuxa's 80s children's music records that I found at a record store years ago before I knew anything about her. She's wearing a VERY see-through top on the cover.
Xuxa's kind of like a bizarro Cicciolina, in that instead of doing a creepy little-girl character for porn audiences she does a creepy porn-ish character for kids. Regardless of what's truth and what's fiction, there's something really sketchy about her whole thing and I really have trouble believing that it can be completely written off to cultural differences.
Anyhow, this video was submitted for evil.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2014-10-18 "I, too, am shocked to to see Gillette compromise her otherwise sterling moral and artistic integrity."
Haha, that's not what I meant. I meant any adult being told "Hey, you're going to be performing this song in front of an audience of eight year olds!" and said adult having no reservations.
I mean it would surprise me if it was anyone. It'd be like Lil' Kim performing "How Many Licks" on Yo Gabba Gabba.
Old_Zircon - 2014-10-18 I bet the "prostitution ring" thing is people conflating Xuxa's scandal with the whole Gloria Trevi debacle, since they happened around the same time and it'd be just like Americans to not know the difference between a Brazilian and a Mexican.
Old_Zircon - 2014-10-18 I thought about that, but even the radio edit has all of the spoken word stuff about dicks, they just bleep it. It really wouldn't be that much better.

EvilHomer - 2014-10-18 Counterpoint: I would LOVE to see Lil Kim performing How Many Licks on Yo Gabba Gabba.
They could have all the monster things daggering in the middle of Cell Block 8!
Old_Zircon - 2014-10-18 The thing that makes it almost definitely real is the acoustics, that's clearly the sound of the song being played through the studio PA. Maybe she expected the radio edit and someone in the studio played the dirty version?
Old_Zircon - 2014-10-18 Also you can easily read her lips when she says "the smallest dick I've ever seen in my life."
infinite zest - 2014-10-18 eh.. sometimes it's pretty funny. Years ago I had the pleasure of seeing Andre Williams at a free music festival, which was at least half-filled with parents and their children, and after a few of his classics goes right into "Pussy Stinks but So Does Marijuana." Kids were dancing and parents were laughing; even though the rest of the band seemed a little bit timid, Williams really didn't give a shit.
EvilHomer - 2014-10-19 When I was little, one of my favorite records was my dad's mixtape of obscene rockabilly songs, like "Let Me Play With Your Poodle" and "Big Ten Inch". We used to listen to it in the car on the way to preschool.

This isn't surprising. Xuxa usually ends with her telling a really sad story about why your father works all the time or why your cat died.

Huh huh huh ... "ween".
I wonder what they'd think of ... SUPER Dickmann's.
