I like that Rufus knows that the bull is coming and has prepared for the bull's arrival.
If he was really prepared he would've had the rest of the 6 pack on the podium.
Now I know the cultural context for the moves the old homeless guys are doing outside the liquor store across the street from my house.
The bull was in some parody movie too.. can't remember if it was Zucker Brothers or Mel Brooks, but I never got the joke. Also didn't know that Schlitz made malt liquor. If you live in the Midwest or are really inclined to try the regular beer, they started brewing it again in 2006 or so. Tastes like it sounds.
Thanks! It's been so long since I've seen that movie that I can't remember the setup, but I sure didn't get it.

It's no surprise he'd do an ad for Schlitz Malt Liquor Bull, Rufus Thomas was way into animals in his songs, he has a number of them, like Tiger Man, No More Doggin', The Dog, Funky Penguin, Preacher And The Bear, Monkey Do The Dog, Funky Chicken, Bear Cat, and of course Walkin' The Dog, which might be what started it all.
He was a serious animal guy!
I drank a 12 pack of the blue bull one night in college. I ending up sleeping on the couch in my own house with a bucket next to me.
