I'm pretty sure when the other firefighter was being burned everybody thought the same thing.
You mean besides everyone?
Good point.

Did this go straight to DVD because I never heard of it until now.
I remember it existing but I'd completely blocked it out until it showed up on Netflix. I haven't seen it. Yet.

It ran in theaters, made 163 million. I just think when it came out in 2006 much of America was burnt out on 9/11 kitsch to want to see it.

It came out in theaters. It was generally regarded as the most dignified of the post 9/11 films cashing in on 9/11, but nothing really special.

I was bored and sick so I watched it on Netflix earlier in the summer. They took everything about 9/11 and turned it into 'I'm Trapped Underground With Nick Cage For Two Hours'. I'm not suggesting that they pack the film with Baysplosions, titty-ninjas and a heavy metal soundtrack. I just mean for a very long duration it was two heads talking back and forth in the dark.

I'd be fine with titty-ninja 9/11.

Dr Robot
There are much more interesting stories from that day, but no one that was there much likes to talk about it. After we start dying off, I expect more testimonials that were written or given to relatives at Thanksgiving that year while still fresh in mind but drunk as an Irishman, as in my case, to go public.

I won't see this movie and I hate Islam and fuck you.

Personally I think, with the right talent attached to it, a movie about that woman who pretended to be a 9/11 survivor would be pretty interesting.

Thank you!

World Trade Center, 2 full hours of Oliver Stone trying to get two guys to continually call out to "get these damn buildings off of me!".
To be fair, sounds like a perfect Nic Cage role.

I forgot Stone did it.

But then I try to forget he did anything after 1990 or so.
