I swear I will make an effort, but no guarantee.

I have a large box filled with old moldy unlabeled 4 track tapes from the 80's.
I'm guessing around 300+ hours of recording.

I need to get one of those usb audio interfaces the kids are crazy about these days to dump it, I have a 4 track deck, but it's just a bare deck, no mixer.

baleen - 2016-09-13

At least to see if the audio still exists.
I have similar tapes in my attic from the 80s but they're all probably toast by now.

Geez how do you clean these things?

Mother Lumper - 2016-09-12

Probably by filling them partially with hot soapy water and shaking them with the lid on. Still atrocious.

I've been thinking about a similar product for soda. Not to save space, but to keep it carbonated even when you're down to the last 1/3 of the bottle.

It's important historical videos like this that makes me pretty sure that it doesn't work, or all the sodas would be in Popeet(TM) bottles.

TeenerTot - 2016-09-13

Like sticking a balloon inside and inflating to fill the space?

Ugh - 2016-09-13
