The whole channel.
The whole damn channel.
We've come a long way since the raisins.
I approve of the Webs & Tiaras channel, if nothing else as our counterbalance to Zack Snyder.
You know that it's being run by Moe and Ethan Bradbury, who are getting rich off of it by making creepy, overtly fetishy bullshit and marketing it to toddlers (there's no evidence of it being "satire" or "just a prank" as opposed to a cynical cash grab).
I'm not a big fan of where the H3H3 channel has gone over the last year or two in general, but the expose of this stuff is worth a look despite the grating production style. In chronological order (but the 3rd one is the most relevant, especially the footage at the end where the Bradburies didn't bother to replace the camera audio, so you can hear all of the directorial instructions and swearing the whole time):
Just skip over the "comedy" parts of the videos.
Assholes find a pretty benign way to monetize their Youtube channel. I really don't have a problem with that.
As for it being all fetishy, I haven't watched all that many of those videos, maybe a dozen, but I don't see the fetishes beyond the fact that anything is conceivably mastur-bait. I think the Joker tied some people to trees once, that's about it.
Your intrepid reporter struck me as trying to make more out of this than it actually is, sorry.
So you haven't watched the family friendly Spiderman MPreg stuff Or the one featured in one of those h3 videos where Elsa's breasts expand and then Spiderman fondles them for a long time in closeup, or the one that just has one of the Bradburys stripped down to nothing but his underwear and Spiderman mask, face-down-ass-up in bed with the camera lingering on his crotch?
Also these people are the ones behind a lot of the whole "pranks in the hood" (i.e. going into black neighborhoods and doing racist things in public) thing and of course the quickly deleted "put up a fake ad on Craigslist to prove how easy it would be to abduct and rape a stranger" video.
It sure is great that this is the content Youtube really gets behind and promotes.
I opine that, if indeed the videos he's showing us are in "toddler" rotation, they shouldn't be. But they also don't seem to be representative of the whole, based on the ones I've seen.
This shit is disturbing. I discovered this rabbithole of batshit insanity a while back on my own and wondered how it came to be.
Seems like a TON of other people have jumped on this... bandwagon.. who don't have anything to do with these Moe and Ethan characters.
Such a bizarre phenomenon. It must take a fair amount of effort to make something like this, and for what?
How much in ad revenue is a hit worth these days? Even if it's 1% of 0.01, this video made 34,000 bucks.
(did the dollar sign bug get fixed yet?)
