There are thousands of these things, and the deeper you go, the grosser it gets.

ok my brain was not ready for that

read that piece on medium.

there was no CS perspective on how this is bot created, no evidence for that matter.

an AI that would know to animate a character falling when the words "fell off" play on a song is very sosphisticated.

conversely, the medium piece provides the perspective of an amateur video creator who says a small team could make this material quickly.

the bot angle seems like clickbait.

I tend to agree. I think it's a series of scripts and animation templates that were made or taken from other sources and then automatically compiled without review. I'm mostly curious why there are stabbings and hammer attack scenes randomly thrown in.

Also gay red Batman has a farm, e-i-e-i-o.

Likely the list of things to animate is procedurally generated from search results, and then a team of very underpaid animators from [third world country] goes to work on a Mechanical Turk type basis.

because it is a bunch of adult humans throwing together videos. it gets boring so you do weird shit. Disney animators did the same thing.

YouTube revenue is good money for a bunch of amateur vid makers with no cost of living in buttfuck nowhere but absolutely not anywhere close to covering the cost of developing and maintaining an AI that does things Google and Facebook cant do.

youre really underestimating the power of boredom and free time.

thinking bots made these is like thinking the pyramids were made by aliens
yogarfield - 2017-11-08
I'm not saying they were artificially created, just that it wouldn't be hard to have a series of sequences and rigs set up, then have them randomly mashed together and then promoted with a bot net.

I think it's clickbait to get readers, but taken tangentially these are videos created by humans chasing an algorithms favor. There's also all the bot accounts they use to self-view and self-thumbs up.

this isnt randomly mashed together. portraying the idea of the lyrics "fell down" visually is an elaborate semantic tapestry. What fell? from where? where is down? how far is down in relation to the begining of the next semantic packags?

dude it is weird poor people with after effects just get over it.

About halfway through the red Batman old MacDonald segment I realized AI is going to enslave us all. I probably watched worse stuff when I was 3, though.
