Does DBZ still count as anime? I sort feel like, at this point, its like calling Star Wars a sci-fi film.
yeah ngl i was expecting (hoping?) for this dude to be into some moe-blob squeaker shit, maybe he spins around in the locker room for his sexy football henshin
thinking about this takes me back to the early 90s and reminds me of all the dudes i knew growing up who weren't really proto-weebs but were still down to watch ninja scroll or other gritty/badass shit that flew under the radar in our conservative town
this interview was charming as all get out though, sincerely jealous of his parents giving a legit amount of brain space to his interests
I outgrew anime around the same time i got my first job. But for some reason DBZ still feels ok to me. Maybe its the loose, yet unified art style of toriyama, maybe its DBZ abridged being way better than it has any right to, maybe its latent homosexual tendancies, who knows.
