Saw him live touring for his Dirty Jokes DVD. It was a really, really great show. He did like 20 minutes with tape on his face.

But this is all much darker. And well I don't know how to laugh at it in the same way. He seems to trying to develop or lean on an 'ethos' of being a creepy old man. But I don't think most see Gottfried in that way so it's jarring to the expectations. I dunno.
