Interesting aesthetic, but filmmakers really need to stop with the closeups of terrible looking rubber slime-coated CGI faces. It never looks right and always falls deeply in the uncanny valley.

He was supposed to be young Flynn down to the scene of that garbage CGI Bridges saying good night to Kid-version of our protagonist.
They could've gone glitchy or hyper uncanny valley intentionally, because simulation, but instead they put that nightmare face in a child's bedroom door wishing a thin lipped goodnight to the meatling tucked in bed.
