It amazes me that Avatar made so much money, yet has had no cultural impact whatsoever. No memorable quotes, characters, or scenes. Everyone has seen it, yet nobody has anything to say about it other than how forgettable it was.

jfcaron_ca - 2022-12-22 I had not been to see a movie in theatres for a long time before being convinced to see Avatar (in 3D). During the movie I was overwhelmed and was really emotionally involved in the story etc. Afterwards I was embarrassed about being so easily manipulated because as soon as my brain turned back on I saw through all the plot/character/everything stupidly. I was legit wondering if they changed the O2 the air or put drugs in the snacks.

SolRo - 2022-12-22 They’re both really pretty movies and we’re easily manipulated by awe.

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2022-12-23 @jfcaron_ca I mean it sounds like u paid money and had an entertaining time. Sounds like a good deal to me. Thinking about it once ure brain turned back on was a mistake imo.

garcet71283 - 2022-12-23 I feel like it emboldened the furries an uncomfortable amount. Ever since avatar they seem way more visible than before…

SolRo - 2022-12-23 I don’t know why it is for avatar but so many people seem to be desperate to convince themselves not to watch it.
If you don’t want to watch it then don’t. But I think you do, and you’re ashamed of it.

Juice Eggs McKenna - 2023-01-17 What do you mean, South Park did like half an episode about it?

I'll pass on the three hour furry fan fiction, thanks.
